A Widow Once Again

As many of you know, my darling Rosamond has a day job. I know, I know...how does she manage to do the dishes, fluff the pillows, change the channels for me, shake up a mean 'tini AND go to work every day. The answer is...I don't know. She's a better girl than me. Truly.

Rosamond has worked for the past four years, doing lord know what, on a television show called The L Word.

The hours are long. Often 15 or more hours a day. Dragging her haggard soul through the door at 4 in the morning. Weekends become a 36 hour panic to get laundry done, call friends, catch up on sleep, and plan for the upcoming week. I become a Dyke Drama widow.

In a few weeks, the madness will begin again. I will no doubt be blogging more, and will be available for tea, coffee, board games, knitting bees, wicca blood lettings...what ever comes my way. Please send detailed instructions to making a martini. I am lost, alone, and sober.

cin cin,
moi

A pox on lesbians.

Martini for Ms. Creant:

Cold fine gin, in large quantities, in a chilled bucket. Add an olive or three.

your loving Rosamond.

Dear Jen,

In honour of our dear Andrea, how about an espresso martini?

1 shot: Classic Italian Espresso
blend
1 shot: Kaluah
1 shot: Stoli Coffee Vodka
1 shot: Stoli Vanilla Vodka

Served in a chilled martini glass, shaken or stirred.

You may have a double; going on my last experience, I think I shall stick to a single.

Lovely to meet you at the service on Saturday.

Till next time, take care.

Hugs,
Deb
